An independent company, TrakMate was founded in 1997 by Daniel Groulx, An avid slot car racer himself and designer of innovative timing solutions used in a variety of applications such as; R/C cars, slot cars, skateboards, ATVs, even electric belt sanders and more. TrakMate’s timing solutions can be PC based in Dos or Windows, or custom designed hardware that requires no PC, as for skateboards and snowmobiles.

...It took me about an hour to get it installed and working. When I started looking for a home track timer program, most of them were several hundred dollars. Way out of my price range.  Thanks so much for making slot car racing exciting again! Racing without Trakmate just doesn't cut it. I appreciate its very stable and accurate performance. My Datarace seems like a toy compared to your program on my laptop. I just ordered the 4-lane version and can't wait to try it out. Great product!
